Grupos dissidentes Mórmons

rlds.:GRUPOS DISSIDENTES MÓRMONS – São os SUD Realmente Unidos na Fé pelo Livro de Mórmon?

Os defensores da Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias (também conhecida como SUD ou Mórmons) com base em Salt Lake City, jactam-se da alegada “unidade” de seus 12 milhões de membros. Apontando para várias denominações de igrejas cristãs, os mórmons atribuem sua “unidade” (i.e. a estrutura e crença uniforme da igreja) à revelação hodierna e aos livros adicionais que consideram como Escrituras.

Eles desafiam o potencial convertido para ler e orar sobre o Livro de Mórmon, a fim de ganhar um “testemunho” da veracidade do livro. Esse “testemunho” (que consiste numa sensação de “ardor no peito”) é alegadamente o principal teste para determinar se o convertido em potencial deve-se tornar um membro da Igreja SUD. Dado o fato de que mais de 100 grupos dissidentes têm-se desenvolvido com base no Profeta Joseph Smith e o Livro de Mórmon, nós questionamos a validade do “testemunho” Mórmon na solidificação da Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias como a único possuidora do “evangelho restaurado”. Uma vez que todos estes movimentos baseiam a sua autoridade sobre o Livro de Mórmon e o Profeta Joseph Smith, como pode um “testemunho” adquirido através da oração sobre o Livro de Mórmon ser suficiente para provar a que igreja de todos esses movimentos a pessoa deve juntar-se?
